Two-Day Workshop: Thursday, December 5 | 4 - 6 pm Saturday, December 7 | 1 - 4 pm, come and go Level: Adults & Youth Ages 12+, no photography experience required. Instructor: Lianna Vermeys Join us for the second photography & wood transfer workshop this fall at PLAC. Instructor Lianna Vermeys, local photographer and artist, will be leading you through the process of transferring your own photo to an 8x8" or 6x10" piece of unfinished wood that will be ready to hang when finished.. Thursday's part of the workshop will include a photography presentation and discussion with fun tips, brief field work, and the first step of your transfer.. so bring your camera OR smart phone! The Saturday portion is come and go, stop by the art center to complete your piece. Participants can choose to take their work home and seal & finish it on their own after this, or they can leave it here for staff to seal it and it will be finished the week after. Your finished piece will be ready-to-hang artwork for your home or for gifting to a loved one this Christmas.
