Friday, October 2nd, 11:30-1:30 Arnolds Park Amusement Park Pavilion In 2015 231,840 women are expected to be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer. The chance that breast cancer will be responsible for a woman's death is about 1 in 36 (about 3%). Death rates from breast cancer have been declining since about 1989, with larger decreases in women younger than 50. These decreases are believed to be the result of earlier detection through screening and increased awareness, as well as improved treatment. At this time there are more than 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. All of this is possible because of people like you who help make events like this a success. This is our inaugural Pink Ribbon Salad Luncheon and we would love for you to join us. There are several ways that you can participate. The success of this event will largely depend on your support. Table decorations include table cloth, place settings and center piece. If you bring your items in a box marked with your name, we can clear the table and put items in the box if you are not able to be present at 1:30 to retrieve your decorations. Proceeds from this event will go to American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, earmarked for Breast Cancer. Table Concierge – obtain table sponsor ($100), decorate table, Includes 8 table tickets ($100) $200 Table Sponsor – sponsor table ($100), includes 8 table tickets, Someone will decorate table for you ($50) $250 Purchase individual luncheon tickets $12.50 each Provide an item for silent auction and/or door prize Provide Salad Volunteer to help the day of the luncheon Please return the attached form or contact one of the committee members below to tell us how you would like to participate in this event.
